In this open-concept townhouse, we desired to carve out separate living, working, and dining areas – all while honouring the exposed sight lines that called for a harmonic, light-on-dark palette. With small children inhabiting the space, we opted for a tailored living room with durable finishes. An artful assemblage of custom, multipurpose furniture – including an upholstered coffee table ottoman, footstools, and swivel chairs designed with stain-resistant fabric – create a fluid, durable, and functional seating arrangement for movie nights and entertaining. We went on to visually connect two different spaces with a desk and open shelving area that meet the needs of work-from-home professionals. You'll find a custom console/server in the dining room, allowing for ample storage and a favoured landing zone for dinner parties. The fulfilled goal for the home was exquisite comfort and a place for everyone to enjoy.
