Reimagining your existing living spaces takes time. We’ll serve you through a concept presentation, product/materials research and sourcing, procurement, tracking, scheduling & receiving, and installation to pull the vision together. To achieve a completely cohesive look, you can begin with a group of rooms or proceed with the whole home.

Full Furnishing &
ON-SITE CONSULTATION
This first step in the design process is our opportunity to get to know one another, take preliminary measurements, and explore some initial design solutions. Following our initial meeting, we’ll create your custom project proposal.
DESIGN CONCEPTION
Upon entering into a client/designer service agreement, we’ll gather your project information and research design concepts to establish the style of your space. Once concepts are finalized, we’ll create project drawings, space plans, furniture plans, and source goods and services.
INSTALLATION
Furnishings are delivered and artfully styled, including art and accessories curated by MHD. Everything is in its place! We look forward to giving you a warm welcome home.
DESIGN PRESENTATION
Decisions, decisions! It’s time to visualize the complete design by putting your eyes on a carefully-curated display of upholstery, wall coverings, paint, drapery, and stone and tile sample selections. You’ll also receive specification packages for case goods, lighting, and other project needs. We’ll work through any refinements and prepare to present estimates.
COORDINATION & IMPLEMENTATION
After we receive your approval of the presented design elements, we’ll place product orders, assess delivery lead times, and initiate the construction/renovation process (for full-service clients).
Process
The
Quoting a project requires in-depth knowledge of your space, desires, and design challenges. Upon inquiring, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule an in-home consultation (a $595 + HST nonrefundable fee within the GTA; travel fees apply for locations outside of our primary service area). Following our initial meeting, we’ll put together your custom project proposal, which includes detailed information about what to expect regarding your investment and process.
Our projects are quite diverse in size and scope. However, on average, they take between 6-24 months to complete. We’ll discuss the timeline at length upon completing the on-site consultation.
We’re headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, primarily serving clients in the GTA, Oakville, Muskoka, and Collingwood. If you live elsewhere, we invite you to get in touch to discuss how we can bring our interior design services to you.
Because we believe in supporting our clients from beginning to end, our firm exclusively focuses on in-person interior design services rather than virtual consultations.
